Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has announced the squad for Nigeria’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
The 23-man list features a mix of experienced players and fresh talents across all positions.
In the goalkeeping department, Stanley Nwabali, Amas Obasogie, and Kayode Bankole have been selected to provide options between the posts.
The defense will be led by William Troost-Ekong, with Bright Osayi-Samuel, Bruno Onyemaechi, Olaoluwa Aina, Igoh Ogbu, and Calvin Bassey also included to bolster the backline.
In midfield, Chelle has opted for a blend of defensive and creative options, calling up Wilfred Ndidi, Raphael Onyedika, Alhassan Yusuf Abdullahi, Alex Iwobi, Joseph Ayodele-Aribo, and Papa Daniel Mustapha.
The attack will be spearheaded by Victor Osimhen, alongside Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface, Simon Moses, Sadiq Umar, and Nathan Tella, providing a variety of attacking threats.
Nigeria is set to face Rwanda on March 21 before taking on Zimbabwe on March 25 as they aim to secure early points in their World Cup qualification campaign.
