BUA Foods Plc, announced that it will seek approval for its 2024 audited financial statements during its Board of Directors meeting scheduled for March 27.
The financial statements, covering the period ending December 31, 2024, will be filed with relevant regulatory authorities and made available to the public following the Board’s approval.
In line with regulatory requirements, the company reiterated that the closed period for its 2024 audited financial statements, which began on January 1, 2025, will continue until 24 hours after the release of the report.
“As previously communicated, and in compliance with the post-listing obligations of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), the closed period will extend until 24 hours after the release of the 2024 AFS,” the company stated.
“During this period, no Director, Manager, employee, or any related or interested party with access to sensitive information that could impact the company’s securities price may engage in any trading activity related to the company’s shares until the statements are publicly released,” the company continued.
The notice, signed by the Company Secretary Oluseye Alayande, was sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
