A fire outbreak occurred at the Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO) office located in Oshodi, near Cappa Bus Stop, Lagos State.
Firefighters from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, working alongside the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), are currently on-site to contain the blaze.
Speaking with “Tribune Online”, a LASEMA official confirmed, “Investigations are still ongoing to determine what triggered this unfortunate incident.”
While no casualties have been reported, the fire has caused extensive damage, destroying property valued in the millions.
Rescue operations remain active as efforts to extinguish the fire continue.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
