Nigerian singer Banky W and his actress wife Adesua Etomi have joyfully welcomed their second child, a baby boy, into their family. Banky W shared the exciting news with fans through an Instagram video, giving a glimpse into his hands-on role as a husband and father since their baby’s arrival.

The video captures Banky W embracing family life, from cooking and helping around the house to providing constant support for Adesua. “But more importantly than that, I am a husband and a father. We just had our second child, who is an amazing young boy,” he expressed in the video.

Highlighting the importance of equality, Banky W spoke passionately about his commitment to supporting women’s empowerment, especially within his own family. “Supporting women’s economic power means doing my part in our home and community,” he said. “Partnership is 100-100, not 50-50. That means in this season, I’ve been a chef, housekeeper, nanny, homework teacher, masseuse, and more—all as part of my duty as a supportive husband and present father of two. And honestly, I couldn’t be happier.”

Adesua responded in the comments, thanking her husband and calling him “the best partner in the entire world.”

The actress had announced her pregnancy on October 14, adding to the couple’s joy as they grow their family. Married in a beautiful ceremony in South Africa in 2017, the couple welcomed their first child, Hazaiah Olusegun Wellington, in 2021.

Banky W has often spoken of his devotion to fatherhood, calling it his “favourite job description.” Reflecting on his journey as a dad, he shared, “The boy is so full of life. He is everything we hoped for and more. Every morning, I’m the first person he sees, before his mom or the nanny.”

Recently, Banky W and his family relocated to the United States, marking a new chapter in their lives as they embrace life with their two young children.
