An Argentine appeals court on Wednesday, upheld the corruption conviction of former president Cristina Kirchner, confirming her six-year prison sentence and her disqualification from holding public office, initially imposed in 2022.
Kirchner, who served as president from 2007 to 2015, was convicted of “fraudulent administration.”
She now has the option to appeal this ruling to Argentina’s Supreme Court.
