This announcement was made in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Enobong Uwah, on Wednesday in Uyo, the state capital.

The late First Lady passed away on September 26, 2024, following a brief illness.

Her burial ceremony will take place in the governor’s hometown, Ikot Ekpene Udo, located in the Nsik-Ibium Local Government Area of the state.
