Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has joined the celebrations following the Super Eagles’ impressive 2-0 win over Rwanda in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Friday.
Led by Victor Osimhen, the Eagles secured their first victory of the campaign in Kigali, with the Napoli star scoring twice—first from an Ademola Lookman assist and later with a clinical finish past Rwanda’s goalkeeper. The win lifted Nigeria to fourth in their group, just two points off second place.
Ajibade, known for her distinctive blue hair and fiery leadership, took to X (formerly Twitter) to hail the team’s performance, posting a short but spirited message: “We no doubt una. Come on boys!”
Her words reflected both confidence and unity, as the Super Falcons leader backed the Eagles’ resurgence under new coach Eric Chelle.
Ajibade’s public support further showcased the camaraderie within Nigerian football, with the Super Eagles’ victory resonating across the nation.
As Nigeria gears up to face Zimbabwe on Tuesday, Ajibade, along with millions of fans, will be hoping the Eagles carry their momentum forward in their quest for a 2026 World Cup berth.
