The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to face Libya in a crucial AFCON 2025 qualifying match, with team news confirming Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface leading the attack in the absence of injured star Victor Osimhen.
Nigeria boasts a perfect record against Libya, winning all four of their previous encounters, scoring nine goals and conceding just two. The Super Eagles currently sit atop Group D with four points from two matches.
Captain William Troost-Ekong will anchor the defense, while Frank Onyeka and Alex Iwobi return to the midfield. In attack, Boniface will be joined by Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman as the team looks to maintain their dominance over Libya.
The match kicks off at 5:00 PM W.A.T at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
