Former Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, marked his 35th wedding anniversary with an emotional tribute to his wife, Dolapo Osinbajo, celebrating her unwavering love and devotion.
In a message shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, Osinbajo expressed profound gratitude, describing Dolapo as the epitome of selflessness and a pillar of strength for their family. He wrote, “Every year of these 35 years you’ve proved that true love is not a myth or a fanciful phrase—through your willingness to give up everything for me and our children, through your generosity with your time, skills, and great faith by which you have helped us all navigate our sometimes bewildering journeys.”
Dolapo Osinbajo, a lawyer, author, and social advocate, has been widely recognized for her impactful work, which includes hosting national prayer meetings, running shelters for vulnerable women, mentoring young people, and pursuing creative hobbies such as crocheting and gardening.
Highlighting her multifaceted contributions, Osinbajo noted, “In all of this, you’ve written several books, run several national prayer meetings, run shelters for vulnerable women, trained thousands of young people in different skills, crocheted a storm, and developed numerous gardens!”
The former Vice President concluded his tribute with heartfelt gratitude and love, saying, “I thank God daily for the gift of you to me. I love you always. Happy 35th Anniversary.”
