The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Distinguished Senator Abubakar Sani Bello, extended his heartfelt condolences to the Farmer Governor of Niger State, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago, the Emir of Minna, Dr. Farouk Umar Bahago, the family of the late Chief Imam of Minna Central Mosque, Mallam Ibrahim Isah Fari, and the entire Muslim Ummah in Niger State over the passing of the septuagenarian.
In his message, Senator Sani Bello described the late Chief Imam as a devoted spiritual leader whose life was committed to the service of Allah and the guidance of the faithful.
He noted that Mallam Ibrahim Isah Fari’s wisdom, humility, and unwavering dedication to Islam left a lasting legacy within the Muslim Ummah, and he will be deeply missed.
“During my tenure as Governor of our dear state, the Chief Imam served as a pillar of support and guidance.
He was a father figure who dedicated his time to offering prayers and wisdom.
He was always concerned about the well-being of the state and ever willing to provide support when needed,” Senator Sani Bello remarked.
The Senator prayed for Allah (SWT) to forgive the Chief Imam’s shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him Aljannatul Firdausi.
He also offered prayers for strength and comfort to the family of the deceased, the Muslim Ummah, and all those mourning this great loss.
