Faisal Makarfi, son of former Kaduna State Governor, Ahmed Makarfi, has tragically died in a car accident in Kaduna. The fatal crash occurred on Saturday evening.

In response to the heartbreaking news, Adolphus Wabara, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, expressed deep condolences, describing Faisal’s death as a “profound loss.”

“Losing a child is an unimaginable pain, and we stand with him during this very difficult time,” Wabara’s statement read. He further emphasized that Faisal’s death extends beyond his family, noting his impact on others through his dedication and compassion.

“We pray that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, grants the family strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”

Faisal was laid to rest Sunday morning in accordance with Islamic rites.

Ahmed Makarfi, who served as governor from 1999 to 2007, is currently the Secretary of the PDP Board of Trustees and was the party’s caretaker chairman between 2017 and 2018.
