A Federal High Court has adjourned the bail hearing of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, in a case instituted by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), pushing further proceedings to April 14.

The adjournment followed proceedings in which the court was expected to hear arguments on El-Rufai’s bail application. However, the matter could not proceed as scheduled, prompting the presiding judge to fix a new date for the hearing.During the session, counsel involved in the case addressed the court on procedural issues surrounding the application.

The judge subsequently ruled that the hearing be deferred, stating that the matter is now adjourned to April 14 for continuation.El-Rufai is currently facing charges brought by the ICPC, although details of the allegations were not extensively addressed during the brief court sitting.
