The Senator representing Niger North Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Abubakar Sani Bello, has donated ₦45.75 million to All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates contesting in the forthcoming Local Government Council elections across Niger North.

The donation, made through the APC Zonal Office in Niger North, underscores Senator Bello’s continued commitment to the party’s success ahead of the November 1, 2025 polls.

According to the disbursement plan, ₦3 million was allocated to each chairmanship candidate, while ₦250,000 was given to each of the 87 councillorship candidates across the wards in the senatorial district.

Party officials described the gesture as a boost to grassroots campaign efforts, noting that the senator has consistently provided strategic and financial backing to strengthen the APC’s presence and performance in the state.

Senator Bello, a key national stakeholder of the APC from Niger State, reaffirmed his dedication to ensuring the party’s victory at all levels, highlighting the importance of unity and collaboration among members ahead of the elections.

The Niger State Local Government Council elections are scheduled to hold on November 1, 2025.
