CAF Unveils Full List of Nominees for 2025 Awards, Nigerian Stars Shine

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially released the complete list of nominees for the 2025 CAF Awards, scheduled to hold later this year.

The prestigious awards celebrate excellence across African football, honouring exceptional performances by players, coaches, clubs, and national teams in both the men’s and women’s categories.

This year’s nominations feature a dynamic mix of established stars and promising talents who have made remarkable contributions to the sport over the past season.

Nigeria once again commands attention, with Rasheedat Ajibade, Chiamaka Nnadozie, and Esther Okoronkwo among the headline nominees in the women’s category. Nigerian clubs and coaches also earned recognition across several categories — underscoring the nation’s enduring impact on African football.
