Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has once again found himself the subject of online mockery following Crystal Palace’s victory over Liverpool in the Community Shield on Sunday.

The latest round of trolling came after Oliver Glasner guided Palace to a 1-0 win over Arne Slot’s Liverpool at Wembley, claiming his second trophy for the Eagles in just three months.
The Austrian, who took charge in February 2024, had already lifted the FA Cup in May.
Glasner’s rapid success has now seen him equal Arteta’s major trophy haul in less than two years, a statistic that fans were quick to highlight on social media.
Several posts on X (formerly Twitter) compared the two managers’ records, with some Arsenal supporters questioning whether Arteta remains the right man to lead the club.
Despite the criticism, optimism remains in North London. Arsenal are among the favourites to contend for the Premier League title this season and are expected to mount strong challenges in the FA Cup, EFL Cup, and Champions League.
