Osimhen Nears Permanent Galatasaray Move as Napoli Set to Accept €75m Deal

Victor Osimhen’s highly anticipated permanent move to Galatasaray is now closer to becoming a reality, following reports that the Turkish champions have agreed to meet Napoli’s financial demands in full.

After weeks of stalled negotiations, Football Italia reports that Galatasaray is preparing to submit a formal offer that satisfies all terms of the €75 million deal—bringing an end to the drawn-out transfer saga.

Although Osimhen’s release clause has expired, Napoli remained firm on their valuation of the Nigerian striker, refusing to lower the €75 million asking price. The key hurdle in negotiations had been the structure of the payment.

Napoli demanded the full amount be paid within 12 months, with nearly €50 million to be delivered upfront. Earlier proposals from Galatasaray had fallen short, offering staggered payments—terms that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis rejected outright.

However, a breakthrough appears to have been reached following a direct conversation between both clubs’ top executives. Galatasaray has now reportedly assured Napoli that a new bid—matching both the total valuation and the required payment schedule—will be tabled by tomorrow.

Should the deal go through as expected, Napoli would receive the full fee by July 2026, aligning with the Serie A club’s financial projections.

For Osimhen, the deal represents a significant milestone in his career. The 26-year-old Nigerian international spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, where he quickly became a fan favourite and made no secret of his desire to remain in Istanbul.

With Galatasaray now poised to meet Napoli’s demands, Osimhen looks set to seal the permanent move he has long advocated for.

The transfer is not just a personal victory for the striker, but also a major step in his ambition to compete in the UEFA Champions League and build on the success he enjoyed during his spell in Turkey.
