Nigerian rapper and YBNL Nation founder, Olamide Adedeji, has achieved a groundbreaking feat in the music industry by claiming all ten spots on both Spotify and Apple Music Nigeria charts with songs from his newly released, self-titled album, Olamidé.

According to data released by Top Charts Africa on Saturday, the album’s unprecedented success marks the first time in 2025 that a Nigerian artiste has simultaneously occupied the entire Top 10 on both major streaming platforms.

On Spotify, the lead single Free featuring Seyi Vibez and Muyeez holds the number one position, followed closely by Billionaires Club with Wizkid and Darkoo.

Other tracks dominating the chart include 99 (featuring Daecolm, Asake, and Young Jonn), Kai! (featuring Wizkid), Hasibunallah, Duro, Luvaluvah, Prelude (with Fxrtune), Special, and Indika, which features Dr. Dre and SPINALL.

Meanwhile, Apple Music’s Top 10 is similarly packed with songs from the Olamidé album, though with slight differences in rankings.

Topping the Apple chart is Hybrid, followed by Billionaires Club, 99, Ruba, Kai!, Hasibunallah, Luvaluvah, Duro, Indika, and Prelude. Interestingly, the track Free, which is leading on Spotify, does not appear in Apple Music’s Top 10, sparking conversations among fans online.

Critics and fans alike have lauded the album for its rich blend of street-hop, emotional depth, and international collaborations, which reflect Olamide’s artistic growth over more than a decade in the industry.

The project features high-profile collaborations with both local and global stars, cementing his legacy as a trendsetter and pioneer in African music.

Widely recognized for mentoring and propelling the careers of acts like Fireboy DML, Asake, Lil Kesh, and Adekunle Gold, Olamide’s latest streaming record further underscores his enduring influence and dominance in the music scene.
