Road users are facing heavy traffic congestion at the Bishini axis of the Abuja-Kaduna highway, with both private and commercial vehicles at a standstill.
The disruption, which began earlier today, has brought movement to a complete halt along the busy corridor—especially between the Jere and Katari stretch. Many commuters are stranded, with no clear indication of when normal flow will resume.
As more vehicles head northward, the situation appears to be worsening. Stranded passengers could be heard lamenting the recurring gridlock that has become an annual challenge during peak travel periods on this route.
