The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), successfully intercepted a shipment of cocaine hidden within the walls of multiple suitcases.
Femi Babafemi, the agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, shared the news on Sunday via a post on X, accompanied by videos showing the seized contraband.
Babafemi expressed concern over the extreme lengths to which smugglers went, meticulously embedding the drugs into the luggage with precision akin to factory fitting.
“Narco-trend update: Strewing the walls of suitcases, in factory fitting precision, with cocaine, must have taken a lot of effort and resources.
But in the end, #ndlea_nigeria officers uncovered it all, as shown in these videos capturing the latest seizure,” Babafemi stated.
The video footage reveals NDLEA officers carefully slicing through the linings of the suitcases to extract the concealed cocaine.
