TechCabal is thrilled to unveil its collaboration with Raenest, a premier financial management solution tailored for Africa’s remote workforce and global enterprises, in anticipation of the upcoming flagship event, Moonshot 2.0.

Set to take place on October 9-10, 2024, at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, this conference aims to gather over 3,500 of Africa’s most brilliant tech innovators to tackle the continent’s most urgent issues with bold solutions.

Moonshot 2.0 will delve into essential topics such as fintech, commerce, the creator economy, renewable energy, climate change, tech policy, artificial intelligence, and cloud infrastructure.

“We are excited to join forces with Raenest for Moonshot 2024,” stated Tomiwa Aladekomo, CEO of TechCabal. “Moonshot is not just a conference; it serves as a hub where Africa’s innovators, business leaders, and entrepreneurs come together to network, collaborate, and share ideas that will influence the future of the continent and beyond. Partnering with an organization that is at the forefront of transforming financial services in Africa is truly exciting.

”Established in 2022 by Richard Oyome, Sodruldeen Mustapha, and Victor Alade, Raenest has been instrumental in assisting African businesses with managing global expenses and facilitating efficient fund transfers, addressing challenges related to contracting, invoicing, and payments. Users can access US checking accounts, send money to over 50 countries, create up to 20 currency-based wallets, and manage expenditures with virtual cards, effectively optimizing global financial operations for remote African workers and startups.

Additionally, Raenest operates Geegpay, an emerging digital platform designed for individuals in the African gig economy. It ensures that creators, freelancers, and knowledge workers receive payment for their services without the complications associated with cross-border transactions.

Victor Alade, CEO of Raenest, expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with TechCabal for Moonshot 2.0, stating, “This partnership presents a thrilling chance for us to advance our goal of empowering African talent and businesses globally through enhanced access to international finance. We are convinced that this alliance will not only elevate discussions surrounding the digital economy but also showcase the groundbreaking solutions that African tech firms are contributing to the global landscape. We look forward to demonstrating how our global multicurrency platform enables effortless international payments for Africans, and we believe that Moonshot 2.0 will serve as a powerful driver of transformative change throughout the continent.”
