With heartfelt gratitude, we write to express our deep appreciation for the appointment of Dr. Kayode Opeifa as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC).

Dr. Opeifa is a dedicated and experienced professional who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the ongoing transformation of the railway sector, aligning with Mr. President’s vision for a renewed hope agenda. His extensive background and achievements in the transportation sector will undoubtedly strengthen and consolidate this transformational journey.

During his tenure as Mandate Secretary for Transportation in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from 2017 to 2019, Dr. Opeifa exceeded expectations by delivering unprecedented reforms. These included the successful execution of the metro light rail project, a groundbreaking initiative that was well-conceived and implemented at an accelerated pace. Under his leadership, the road network within the city center, street maintenance, and associated road infrastructure witnessed significant improvements.

Dr. Opeifa is also a seasoned politician who played a pivotal role in the success of the FCT Area Councils elections and the Presidential elections of both 2019 and 2023, where the APC achieved remarkable victories. His exemplary leadership skills have endeared him to the youth of the FCT, earning him widespread recognition as a leader of repute.

Mr. President, we sincerely thank you for appointing such an outstanding individual, a seasoned politician and accomplished transportation expert to lead the Nigerian Railway Corporation. We are confident that Dr. Opeifa will exceed all expectations and deliver exceptional results. His past achievements and impressive track record speak volumes about his capacity to drive progress.

We pray that God continues to sustain this administration and grant Mr. President the wisdom to fulfill all promises to the nation. Amen.

Thank You Mr. President sir!!!
