The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has announced the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.
This development marks a significant reshuffle in the state’s leadership structure.
The dissolution, however, spares two key members of the cabinet due to the critical nature of their roles.
Those retained are the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac.
In a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, the affected cabinet members were directed to hand over all government properties in their possession to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.
Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed his gratitude to the outgoing executive council members for their contributions to the development of the state during their tenure. He extended his best wishes to them in their future endeavors.
This move is expected to pave the way for a fresh composition of the state’s executive council as the administration continues its agenda for progress and development.
