NASS Approves Bashir Abubakar as Chief Public Complaint Commissioner

The National Assembly has approved Bashir Abubakar as the new Chief Public Complaint Commissioner of the Federation, in accordance with the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) Establishment Act. The appointment, along with the approval of 37 federal commissioners for the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, was announced in a statement by Dr. Barde Umoru, Secretary of Research and Information.

The newly appointed commissioners include:

– Akwa Ibom: Ubong Uwah

– Kano: Yusuf Abdullahi Ata

– Ekiti: Olayisade Akintade Charles

– Borno: Abatcha Maaji

– Kwara: Falola Olanrewaju Jimoh

– Ebonyi: Dr. Achi Ezeora Christian

– Benue: James Ogaba Oche

– Enugu: Edith Okoli

– Osun: Adekunle Alao

– Jigawa: Barde Usman Shehu

– Adamawa: Maryam Dalhatu Abdulmalik

– Bayelsa: Barr Ronke Binawari

– Cross River: Dr. Owa E. Owa

– Delta: Mathew Uduaghan

– Katsina: Bashir M. Isah

– Kebbi: Sama’il Salihu Bui

– Ogun: Mirakinyo Akinuye

– Taraba: Nuhu Sabo

– Yobe: Hassan Garba Katuzu

– Kaduna: Sani Akilu Idris

– Abia: Madukwe E. E.

– Edo: Austin Aigbavboa

– Gombe: Bose Mohammed Bashir

– Kogi: Oladeinde Abolarin

– Oyo: Olataun Rashidat Yusuf

– Rivers: Ernest Chima

– Bauchi: Baba Ibrahim Mohammed

– Sokoto: Mohammed Galandanci

– Anambra: Muoka Emmanuel Okechukwu

– FCT: Musa Dikko

– Imo: Mike Uzodimma

– Lagos: Odunewu Hafeez Adekunle

– Ondo: Hon Kehinde Adeyemi Oni

– Plateau: Abbas Garba

– Zamfara: Amb Hamidu Ibrahim

– Nasarawa: Mustapha Saidu Mahmud

– Niger: Abdulrahman Mohammed

The appointments are in line with Section 2(1) of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) Establishment Act.
