Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has addressed circulating rumours suggesting he is facing financial difficulties.
The veteran Afrobeats star firmly refuted the claims during a recent appearance on the +234 Mzansi Podcast, co-hosted by actor and media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu.
Speaking on the show, the award-winning singer clarified that he is financially stable, attributing his current status to strategic investments made over the years.
According to him, while he may not be constantly in the spotlight musically, he remains financially secure through diversified business ventures.
2Baba also noted that he is comfortable living with or without active music projects, as he has built a lifestyle sustained by earnings outside the entertainment industry.
Recognised as one of the most commercially successful artists in Nigeria and across Africa, 2Baba rose to fame with hits like African Queen and has maintained a strong presence in the industry for over two decades.
His comments come amid increased public speculation about the financial state of veteran entertainers.
