President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his commitment to creating a Nigeria that serves the interests of all citizens. Speaking during a visit to Lagos Island on Friday as part of the Christmas and New Year celebrations, Tinubu emphasized that his administration prioritizes the well-being of the people.

In a statement shared on his official X account, the President expressed gratitude for the warm reception he received:

“People are at the heart of our mission. Thank you, Lagos Island, for the warm and rapturous welcome this afternoon. I appreciate your support, which further fuels my determination to create a brighter future for a Nigeria that works for everyone—one we will all be proud to call our country.”

Calling for collective effort, Tinubu urged Nigerians to unite in the quest for national development. “We must work and pray together for a better country,” he said.

Since taking office in May 2023, President Tinubu has faced criticism over several policy reforms, including the controversial removal of fuel subsidies. Despite the challenges, he remains steadfast in his vision for an equitable and prosperous Nigeria.
