Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the employment of 1,010 secondary school teachers following the completion of a rigorous recruitment process conducted by the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).
In a statement, the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, announced that the list of successful candidates will be published online on Monday. Additionally, physical copies will be displayed at TESCOM headquarters and zonal offices across the state from Tuesday.
Adeniyan emphasized that only those who made the final list are required to commence their documentation immediately.
Governor Aiyedatiwa had previously approved the recruitment of 1,000 secondary school teachers and another 1,000 for primary schools to address the shortage of educators in the state’s public schools.
“While the final list for secondary school teachers received the governor’s approval on Friday, the selection process for primary school candidates is still being finalized,” Adeniyan stated.
