A fire outbreak, partially destroyed Focus Holiday Inn, a well-known hotel in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The fire, which reportedly began in the early hours of Wednesday, January 15, 2025, was successfully extinguished through the combined efforts of the hotel staff and nearby residents who stepped in to help.
Upon arriving at the scene, Channels Television reporters found the hotel gates closed, with security guards preventing access to the premises.
The guards confirmed that hotel operations have been temporarily suspended due to the incident.
Focus Holiday Inn is located in a quieter area of Okemesi Crescent, Garki, Abuja.
As of the time of this report, the FCT Fire Service has yet to respond to calls and messages requesting their comments on the incident.
