Grammy-winning artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, recently took to Instagram to reflect on his financial success, stating he now surpasses many of the individuals he once admired.

The acclaimed musician, who has become one of Africa’s most influential music exports, attributed his journey to perseverance and determination. He emphasized the potential for success in every individual, cautioning against underestimating others.

“Imagine growing up and only politicians and oil men were the ones really getting REAL money, followed by the G boys. Music was not even in the conversation when money was the Topic,” he wrote. “Now, an ugly black musician from Port Harcourt got more money than 90% of the people he looked up to as moneymakers.”

Burna Boy encouraged young people not to lose hope, suggesting that anyone could achieve significant success. “This is why I never count any young people out, because they could be Elon Musk 2moro typing this same message,” he added.

The “Last Last” singer rose to fame in 2012 with the release of his hit song “Like to Party,” marking the beginning of his rise in both the music and financial world.
