Senator Monday Okpebholo and his deputy, Dennis Idahosa, have been formally sworn in as the Governor and Deputy Governor of Edo State. The inauguration ceremony took place at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, where the state’s Chief Justice, Daniel Okungbowa, administered the oath of office.
Both Okpebholo and Idahosa pledged to uphold the constitution and commit to advancing the welfare of Edo State’s residents. Supporters filled the stadium, cheering throughout the oath-taking as the new administration officially began its term.
